This Security and Privacy Statement applies to this website which is operated and managed by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ABN 11 005 357 522) ("ANZ") under the domain name "www.www.thesbhub.com.au" ("The Small Business Hub"). The Small Business Hub is operated on behalf of ANZ and its related bodies corporate (together called the "ANZ Group"). The information described in this Security and Privacy Statement may be shared between members of the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group.
ANZ understands and appreciates that you, as a user of The Small Business Hub ("Member"), are concerned about your privacy and about the confidentiality and security of information we may gain about you online. ANZ is committed to protecting your privacy. This ANZ Security and Privacy Statement explains how your personal information will be treated as you access and interact with The Small Business Hub.
The ANZ Privacy Policy (available on www.anz.com) explains how ANZ generally protects your privacy and confidentiality. The principles set out in the ANZ Privacy Policy also apply to The SB Hub Website.
Security of Information
ANZ takes reasonable steps to preserve the security of cookie and personal information. One of the purposes of The Small Business Hub is to enable Members to share information and views on topics of interest. The information Members post on the website can therefore be viewed by all other Members who have gained access. If Members have confidential information they wish to share with ANZ, the website or its public forums are not an appropriate medium to communicate this information. If you wish for ANZ to contact you about this or any other matter, please leave your details in the ANZ mailbox and a staff member will be in contact with you.
Information Collected
The information that ANZ collects about you is dependent on how you use the facilities offered by The Small Business Hub.
If you register to The Small Business Hub, the information will be collected and stored by ANZ's authorised representative, DDB Worldwide Communications Group Inc. and/or Auris Communications Pty Ltd, solely for the purposes of giving you access to The Small Business Hub and to assist ANZ in the design, operation and management of The Small Business Hub. Our arrangements with DDB Worldwide Communications Group Inc. and Auris Communications Pty Ltd contain strict privacy and confidentiality obligations.
If you visit an unsecured area of the website (that is, an area where you are not required to log on) to read or browse information, our system may record the date and time of your visit to our site and the pages viewed. However, our systems will not record any personally identifiable information.
The Small Business Hub may also contain links to the websites of third party providers of goods and services ("Third Party Web Sites"). If you have accessed Third Party Web Sites through The Small Business Hub and if those third parties collect information about you, ANZ may also collect or have access to that information as part of our arrangements with those third parties.
Where you access a Third Party Web Sites from The Small Business Hub, cookie information, information about your preferences or other information you have provided about yourself may be shared between us and the third party. You cannot usually be identified from the information that is shared; if you can be identified from this information, we will seek your consent before sharing such information.
Third Party Web Sites should contain their own privacy statements and those third parties are responsible for their own privacy practices.
In addition, ANZ also uses DDB Worldwide Communications Group Inc., Auris Communications Pty Ltd and Monash SEIRnet to collect information on how you utilise this website.
These companies may analyse and report to ANZ regarding use of the website by Members, but the analysis is not based on individual personal information or usage. ANZ uses those analyses to measure advertising effectiveness and relative consumer interest in the various areas of The Small Business Hub. As a general rule, no personal information is collected by the companies in this process. If, however, any personal information is automatically collected, these companies are required under their arrangements with ANZ to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of that personal information.

How we Handle Personal Message Mailbox
We will preserve the content of any e-mail that you send us, if we believe that we have a legal requirement to do so. Your e-mail message content may be monitored by our ANZ employees for security issues including where e-mail abuse is suspected; our response to you may be monitored for quality assurance issues.
Use and Disclosure of Information
We will only use or disclose personal information or information generated by cookies in accordance with the ANZ Privacy Policy (available at www.anz.com) , specific and additional provisions relating to privacy which apply to certain areas of The SB Hub and as otherwise set out in this Security and Privacy Statement.

ANZ encourages you to review The SB Hub Web Site Security and Privacy Statement periodically because it may be updated from time to time. ANZ may at any time vary The SB Hub Web Site Security and Privacy Statement by publishing the varied The SB Hub Web Site Security and Privacy Statement on The SB Hub Web Site. You accept that by ANZ publishing the varied The SB Hub Web Site Security and Privacy Statement on The SB Hub Web Site, ANZ has provided you with sufficient notice of the variation.
